Here's What You Missed at the 2018 Conference & Tradeshow
- We had 2 Dynamic Keynote Speakers
Cara Silletto spoke about Workforce Development in Senior Living and offered various strategies to improve staffing stability and reducing unnecessary turnover, and Phyllis DeLaricheliere's presentation, Knowing your Inner Hippie: A unique approach to understanding Dementia was an interactive session on alternative methods to dealing with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
- 5 Educational Tracks
This year, we brought back or educational tracks and they were, Resident Care, Human Resources, Operations, Sales & Marketing and Dementia. Attendees could attend sessions of all the same track or mix and match.
- Enhanced Tradeshow Experience
Prior years, our tradeshow had been in the exhibit hall at the DCU center in a booth format. This year, we moved the tradeshow from level 1, to level 3 and offered tables lined along the same level as the sessions to allow for convenient interaction. We had 45+ exhibitors from various industries serving the assisted living sector and received very positive feedback from exhibitors and attendees!
